Raised in the church, yet classically trained, Lucius B. Hoskins has found a way to use the power of music to position himself as one of the most sought out songwriters, music producers, and guitarist of today. 

Born and raised on the southeast side of Grand Rapids, MI, Hoskins was surrounded by music. His father, a well-known pastor and leader in the community, known around the city for his guitar playing and singing, while his mother was a lover of all genres of music and kept R&B and Gospel playing around the house.  His Grandfather was also a well-known and sought-after singer in the area, so it’s no surprise that Hoskins fell in love with music at a young age. 

As a gifted musician, songwriter and music producer, Hoskins’ talent has afforded him the opportunity to travel the world working with over 50 A-List artists such as Jill Scott, Tank, Chico Debarge, Carl Thomas, Kirk Franklin, Michelle Williams, Stephanie Mills, Tobe Nwigwe, Zarcardi Cortez and Marvin Sapp just to name a few. Hoskins has received multiple awards including three Stellar Awards, five Rhythm & Soul Awards, eight BMI Awards, one Dove Award nomination, a Billboard Award nomination, a Grammy Award nomination and has worked on a handful of Grammy nominated albums. He is the owner of five companies including his own record label.
